often times we get too caught up in the business side of photography and forget to shoot for ourselves. it is very easy to forget why you picked up a camera in the first place, what made you become a photographer. when was the last time you took your camera out and took pictures just for you?

i have to remind myself that every picture does not have to be perfectly composed with fantastic lighting and focus. sometimes it is the emotion of the photograph that makes it amazing and the memories that it holds.

i snapped this picture at a wedding i photographed in Kansas City in the spring. nothing fancy or special about it, but to me it brings back a lot of memories that were made in few short days.
